What if I already own a domain?

If your domain name is already registered with Solelyweb and you’re not using it with another one of our services, then you can attach it to your web hosting package when you order.
If your domain is registered with another company, there are two ways to use it with your hosting package:
First, transfer it to Solelyweb and then attach it to your package. Most companies will allow you to transfer, just simply get access to the auth code of EPP code
Second, leave the domain name where it is and point it at your hosted site on Solelyweb by simply changing the DNS or name servers of your domain name to:

ns2.solelyweb.com (50.28.105.94)
It will take around 24-48 hours for your domain name to show on your new site. -
How do I point my existing domain to Solelyweb hosting?

Can I install applications with my hosting?

100% yes you can but your Website Hosting package must meet requirements for your application. For example, if you a web space of 1GB you cannot download or install an application that is 1.8GB as the application excess the allocated space you have been given. Also, we will not allow applications that require root or administrator level access.

How does the money back guarantee work?

If you decide that the package you have bought is not right for you for any reason, please give us a call or message us through our support ticket platform via your clientarea within the first 15 days. We will refund you what you have paid for your Web Hosting, “excluding any additional fees for domains”. Domain names cannot be “unregistered” once you have chosen them. You will need to let them expire if you do not want to use them anymore.

You get email accounts with Solelyweb. You can personalise your email accounts with your domain. However, the amount of emails you can create is entirely base on what Website Hosting package you are on. For example, our “Essential” package comes with 1 email account where as our “Premium” comes with more than one email account.

MySQL databases come with Business Pro and Premium packages/ plans.

What happens to my free domain names if I cancel my Website Hosting account?

Once you cancel your account you can still keep your domains however, you will still need to pay renewal price when they are close to their renew date.
If no longer have an account and still keep your domain you can use it with another hosting company or you can transfer it to another company. -
Should I back up the files in my website hosting package?

We do recommend that you keep a personal backup of your website well. We have a guide to backing up your files using FTP, and if you have a Business Pro or Premium package, you can also use the backup and restore feature in your control panel.
